Downloading PDF documents in Shopify iOS app

Hi,

One of our app's features allows to download PDF documents via Admin links extension. This works well on desktop and mobile, in Shopify app on Android, but not in Shopify app on iOS. It is possible to display the document for viewing, but not for downloading.

We have tested several similar apps: Sufio, Order Printer Pro, and they behave similarly in Shopify app on iOS.

Is there any special JS interface, or anything else available in Shopify app for iOS to be able to allow iOS users to download PDF files generated by our app?

No. We have contacted Shopify Partner support on Nov 9, 2023. Their last update was in January, they told that "team is actively monitoring and working on this issue with our developers.".
