Empty DiscountAllocations despite discount code

The above screenshot has the output from useApi() in the console. As you can see, discountCodes shows a correct array of one discount. However, discountAllocations appears to be empty, despite there being a discount applied. 

Is this a bug or does discountAllocations work differently?
