How can set a limit to adding an app block if one has already been added

I have created a custom app-block specifically for the product section.

I added DeppLink to enable the app-block on the product section. It was successfully enabled but the issue is that every time I click on the DeepLink or add it from the theme customize, it adds another app-block. So, instead of updating the existing one, it keeps adding more and more. like this

I want to check if the app-block was added to the product section.

How can I achieve this, have any idea for this issue?
