For discussing the development and usage of Checkout UI extensions, post-purchase extensions, web pixels, Customer Accounts UI extensions, and POS UI extensions
Hello Everyone,
I've created a UI Extension that needs to be added to the checkout page. I successfully added its block via the theme editor/checkout extensibility. However, I'm currently trying to create a Deep Link to automatically embed the app on the checkout page. Despite following the same process I used for my theme extension and multiple attempts based on the documentation, it seems the app isn't embedding correctly.
I'm not sure if I made a mistake or if it's a compatibility issue with the checkout UI extension.
Does anyone have any ideas on this? Please advise, thank you.

Hi Tyuzu,
Checkout UI extensions don't currently have support for deep linking to the checkout editor in the way that you can create deep links to install theme app extensions directly to a location in the theme editor. Merchants will need to manually install your app on the checkout editor. I've flagged this as a feature request to our team however.
