We are building an app for add Theme Extensions. We have multiple Environments(Staging and Testing stores).
the challenge we have is to prevent force Theme Extensions be updated on these stores automatically, instead we want to manually go to the store and click the update after the app new updates are released. this way when app is released its not going to push updates on multiple stores automatically.
I see the update prompt for third-party apps that are installed via Shopify App store. but for our Extension-only custom app it looks like it automatically pushes the updates. Is there any app configuration or anything I need to do on my end to prevent force updating the app on multiple stores automatically?
