I have a client that would like to use both the one-page checkout, and some custom checkout extensibility components for messaging and some alerts. However, when I edit the checkout settings as I would with the standard multi-page checkout, I am not able to add extensions to the page layout, and can only adjust theme settings instead. I'm unable to find specific information about compatibility between those two features in the Shopify docs.
Are checkout extensibility components compatible with the new one-page checkout, and if not, is that feature planned for the near future before the old checkout system is depreciated?
