The customer account UI extension isn't showing after running shopify app deploy

The extension is rendering fine when I do shopify app dev, but after deploying it by using shopify app deploy, it's not showing when shopify app dev isn't running.

I also have a theme app extension in the app and that's rendering just fine.

I don't see any option to release the extension in the partner portal:

Tried reinstalling the app and also logging out and back into the customer accounts section.

Any ideas?

They're not live yet outside of shopify app dev.
