Flow idea - Automatically Archive old orders

Flow idea - Automatically Archive old orders

Hi there,

Our dashboard shows a big number next to "orders", suggesting many (thousands) of unfulfilled orders. However, we've fulfilled all orders or in some cases duplicated missed orders to support our customers' requests.

There are reasons: partial fulfillment being the main one, that "open" orders accumulate overtime and make that number next to the orders section look big and scary.

I tried using flows app to run something like this:

- if an order is open, AND

- the order is 3months old (or older)

- change order status to "archived"

The problem is step 2 -- I don't see a way to give me "3 months old" for created date. I can only choose a hard date in time.

Any suggestions

Thank you!

There's a little code icon next to the calendar icon in that input field. Try clicking that?

Thanks, but that just reopened total list of options, including "Created date"

You can use a run code step to generate the date field that you want and then you should be able to pull it into there.

Happy to help further with this on a paid basis if that's of interest. Link is in my signature below.
