I have fullfilled an order using the api, and the order gets status Fulfilled in the orders view.
Shopify is configured to "Automatically when the entire order is fulfilled", but the order doesn't change to status Paid.
Why is that?

I dont get it . The order should be marked as 'paid' before it is marked as 'fulfilled'. As you mentioned, the payment capture setting 'Automatically when the entire order is fulfilled', meaning that the money is transferred to the merchant's bank account after the order is fulfilled.
