How do I automate the sending of tracking emails with an automatic Fulfilled status?

I have this problem that after my supplier automatically sends the parcel numbers and the order goes to ‘Fulfilled’ status, my customers are not receiving an email notification about the shipment.


I'm guessing it's because the ‘’Send shipment details to your customer now’ checkmark is not checked on orders.


My question is what should be done to make the aforementioned checkmark ticked for all orders so that when the package details are automatically received and the status changes to ‘Fulfilled’, the customer receives an automatic mailing with the tracing information.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

I'm going to assume that your supplier is using our fulfillment API's to automatically send the parcel numbers and mark the orders as fulfilled. 


If that's the case, the best option here is to reach out to them directly and request that they use the notify customers option in their request.

As long as notify customers is set as true, then it will send the notification.
