How do I provide 3PL for customer

Hello,

Providing 3PL fulfillment service to a Shopify customer.  They are wanting us to fulfill orders and control inventory through Shopify.  At this time we have been using google sheets but looking to streamline the process.  Is there an APP that is provided for this service.  If this is an option would like to offer this through shopify for other customers that we provide this fulfillment service.

Have you looked into using ShipBob or Fulcrum?

Thanks Liam, the problem with those solutions is the customer already sells through shopify and looking to have it all done in Shopfiy arena.  Have not been able to reach anyone at Shopfiy that is able to help with this answer. They said an app would have to be developed within shopify and go here to find someone to help.  So far not happening.

Hi again Robert - I'm not 100% sure if I understand your response on why the apps on the Shopify App Store would not be a good fit, are you hoping to develop your own custom app, rather than use an existing app?

Problem more likely is me not understanding how this works, zero experience with shopify.  I've called Shopify and nobody there seems to give you any directions.  I've tried to look up the step by step with youtube etc. couldn't find anything related to my interest.  So this is why I have reached out hoping to find step by step instructions on how to set this up and use it.  I'm assuming i could work my way through learning how to use the app but just getting to that point is my struggle?  Not sure if I need to setup an account and is this an account different from setting up for selling on shopify and I'm going to assume it is?  I had a account selling a product on shopify long time ago so I'm not sure if I can use the same credentials.  Along with where and what app to download.  This is how lost I am at this point.
