Myself and my company are new to Shopify, only a couple of weeks in. We currently use a third party inventory management software called Stok.ly. We are looking to replace it with a much simpler/cheaper solution. Shopify can accommodate for a lot of our needs but there's a few things we still need.
We have two warehouse locations, one in our brick and mortar store (Warehouse 1) and one off site (Warehouse 2). We ship and sell from Warehouse 1, and replenish that stock from Warehouse 2. Our current inventory management solution allows us to set critical levels for every sku and variant. Every day we are notified when a minimum level is reached, a list is generated and we pick stock from Warehouse 2.
If anyone has a solution that could get us this outcome using Shopify that would be great.
We have looked in to using flows but can't quite seem to get the result we'd like. I can imagine going down this route would look something like:
At 7am every day > check "Product Type" from "Vendor" > if inventory in Warehouse 1 is 10 or less > check if Warehouse 2 has inventory of 1 or more > If yes then email me a list of items to pick from Warehouse 2 to replenish Warehouse 1.
I understand that I'm realistically looking at a custom built API but I'll look forward to seeing what solutions you have, and thank you in advance.
