Dear community,

 

i am trying to provide B2B customers the Self-serve returns on new customer accounts.

 

On a B2C Order it works and shows up once an order is fullfilled, like expected.

Same approach with a B2B order doesn't give me the possibility on new customer accounts to trigger the Self-serve returns.

 

Is there any setting i am overlooking or are self-serve returns simply not possible on B2B?

Hi again PK12,

 

After looking into this a bit more I've discovered that in fact self serve returns do not support B2B orders - which is why you're not seeing an option in the order to trigger a self serve return. Apologies for my earlier answer that indicated that it was supported - I've forwarded your feedback to the team who is working on this however!

Hi PK12,

 

There doesn't seem to be any inherent limitation on Shopify's end that prevents self-serve returns for B2B customers. Can you DM me the store where this is happening?

For now we have to figure out another solution for our customer then.

Looking forward to get a native Shopify solution about this.

We would also like to see Shopify native self-service returns (via new customer accounts) made compatible with B2B orders for our dedicated B2B store.
