We sell (among other bakery products) sour dough bread. We want to offer sliced or not option but I can't see how to achieve such a simple task.
If we use 'variants' we can have have the client select sliced or not but then we have to divide the inventory in those two options which will make everything a mess. We should just slice it when the customer requires it.
I tried with bundles but it is not shown as an option when you are buying the item. Is like two different items.
Are we going to need an app for such a simple task? Can maybe a Shopify Flow take care of this?
Hi, we have an app called Fusion Inventory which can be used to make both variants (sliced and whole) share the same inventory.
Take a look at our user guide to see how it works. Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi @zJorge,
The Free Easify Product Options app is a great way to easily solve your problem. Instead of creating "Sliced' or "Not Sliced" as Shopify variants, you can set them up as custom options within the app and add them to your bread product. This way, customers can still choose whether they want their bread sliced or not, without affecting your actual bread inventory. Here're some quick examples 🤗:
You can set this up in just a few minutes. We hope you give the app a try!
