Two locations selling stock from same stockpile

I sell all my items in the local retail shop and some of them online.

I created 2 locations - one for the online and one for the retail shop.

(I thought I need to do this so I can choose which products to sell online and which not)

But I use the stock for both from the local retail shop.

Can I just have all my stock at the retail location and still get the right stock count when I sell my products for both locations?

Is there a better way to do this?

Thank you. I solved it by having one location (as online is not a location) and using the sales channel to choose which products I sell where.

Many people use duplicate SKU sync app to and keep SKU duplicated

1. Synkron (https://apps.shopify.com/synkron-1) - Multi channel inventory sync app
2. Fare Freight (https://apps.shopify.com/fare-freight) - Real time rate from Freight Carriers and Autobooking
