Hi, I sell on about a dozen of uncommon marketplaces. These marketplaces are not supported by your standard multichannel apps.
1. It takes a lot of time copying and pasting all the information from my shopify listings onto the other marketplace listing creator forms to list my products, I then have to do this over 10 times to list the product on all the websites.
2. When an item sells on one of the marketplaces/websites/auctions, I then have to login to over 10 other websites to take the sold product down, one by one.
3. If I want to edit the price, again I have to log in separately and do this one each website, it is so time consuming.
I love how for popular marketplaces, you are able to sync all listings, stock counts and prices, but in my case the websites I sell on, are not mainstream enough to be part of any of the multichannel ecommerce apps.
What can I sign up for/set up to be able to just list once on shopify and for that item to then be auto listed everywhere else and once it sells, I can just take the listing down/set inventory to 0 on shopify and then it auto cancels/changes inventory to 0 on all those other marketplaces/websites?
I do not mind paying any subscriptions costs to have this functionality. I have read a post on shopify forum https://community.shopify.com/c/technical-q-a/how-can-i-transfer-my-product-list-from-shopify-to-oth... - where someone suggested that:
"For example here is one that can integrate just about anything: https://www.celigo.com/platform/"
But I do not understand its universal connector to be able to tell if this will work or not for my scenario.
All suggestions welcome please. (apart from employing someone to do this data entry)
Thank you
Hi @Michael909,
I understand how managing product listings, inventory, and prices across multiple marketplaces can be a hassle, especially when those marketplaces aren't supported by standard multichannel apps. The manual effort required is incredibly time-consuming and prone to errors. Here's a solution that might help streamline this process.
You should consider using MapMyChannel by WebBee. With this app, you create a product listing once on Shopify, and it will automatically list your product on all the other marketplaces you sell on. This eliminates the need for manually copying and pasting product information. When an item sells on one marketplace, MapMyChannel will automatically update the inventory across all other marketplaces. Plus, it syncs your orders, saving you from having to manage each marketplace separately. This could save you a lot of time and effort.
I just had a look at MapMyChannel by WebBee and unless I am wrong they only integrate with about 10 popular marketplaces?
Yes, you are correct. Currently, they integrate with popular marketplaces, but they have many more in the pipeline. If you have a requirement for a specific marketplace, you can submit a new integration request to them. Their team will surely get back to you regarding this.
You can check the current integrations on this page: https://www.mapmychannel.com/integrations
Submit a new integration request here: https://www.mapmychannel.com/product-roadmap
But this whole post is literally on what to do when you sell on UN-Popular marketplaces? That is the opposite of helpful
Yes, I understand your post was for less popular marketplaces. That's why I provided the link where you can submit your integration request. Maybe they can assist you with those marketplaces.
