Is it possible to add DNS records to a customers domain? (assuming the domain is hosted with Shopify).
We send emails on behalf of our customers and we want to find an easy way to setup their DNS records so they don't have to.
We'd love to be able to do this through the Shopify admin API as it can be very confusing for customers to setup themselves.
Thanks

Hey @giles-promo_ai,
I'm not aware of any endpoints available currently that will allow you edit DNS records via the API.
However, you can request collaborator access to your customer's store and modify their DNS settings manually.
Requesting access to a client's store: http://bit.ly/2xGnvW9
View or edit the DNS settings for a domain: http://bit.ly/30vZ3Df
Let me know if this helps!

Great response, @BrianAtWork !
I can confirm that there is no API access to DNS settings for Shopify-purchased domains, or any current plans that I am aware of to enable such a thing. But collaborator access would be an excellent way to help a client in the event that they were having issues setting things up on their own.

Thanks @Josh and @BrianAtWork - sorry for the late reply I've been on the road travelling the last few weeks.
Shame there is no API access but that sounds like a great way to help a client in the meantime.
Thanks again.
