and apologies if I've missed any documentation, but I tried to read it all.
I tried different formats of dev accounts, non-dev accounts, and websites
but can't get the OAuth to work and allow the approval of connection.
The link between APP and Shopify website is a stop red circle, and the "Install App" button is disabled as in the example image below:

I could install the app as a dev one on the dev account and communicate with the API server, but when trying to receive a real OAuth token, the previous behavior occurs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm willing to pay for support as well.
