I saw a prior thread regarding getting a product into the online store and POS but I need the product available via an existing buy button and POS. I thought automated collection would be just the thing but it seems I don't understand their purpose. The product is in the collection but the sale channels are unaffected.

How can I create a product that would be available via one or both of those sales channels programmatically ? I use one app for batch jobs and another app for actually UI interaction. They are both for one and only one store. I'm not sure plus. Thanks.
