draftOrder and Order timeline events

Our application acts as a sales channel with an external payment gateway powered by Stripe. We export the orders into Shopify for the merchant's convenience. There are payment details which we would like to surface to the merchant in the exported Order in the Shopify admin.

What is the best way to surface this payment information? The easiest solution is to simply place this information in the Order Notes section. However, it would be really nice if we could add some insight to the order events section where it is currently saying that our app "manually marked this order as paid". It would be very convenient to add some more properties to this list of order event details (see image):
