we are currently building an app that gets delivery bills from different source systems and is also connected to multiple fulfillment service providers.
Shopify is a source system in this case.
The following actions should be possible:
1. retrieve products
2. report stock
2. retrieve fulfillment order to fulfillment service provider
2. report tracking information
I have looked at the documentation on order management and fulfillment service apps.
In our case, several fulfillment service providers can be linked to one shopify instance.
Thereby the question came up, if multiple locations can be created in one fulfillment service or is it better to create multiple fulfillment services?
Are there any functional limitations with the two options? In particular with the inventories?
Does anyone have experience with this or know the best practice?
