A space to discuss GraphQL queries, mutations, troubleshooting, throttling, and best practices.
Dear Manager,
I hope this message finds you well. This is the development team from PlayAuto.
We are looking to use the Shopify GraphQL Admin API and have a question regarding the endpoint:
https://{store_name}.myshopify.com/admin/api/2024-07/graphql.json
Specifically, we would like to know more about the "2024-07" portion. Is there a way to determine the correct version? We have found information indicating that older versions may not be available for use.
Given that this portion may change frequently, we are concerned about how to handle this in our implementation. Would it be sufficient to use the API key creation date? For instance, if we are at "2024-09," what should we do if that version does not exist?
Thank you for your assistance on this matter.
Best regards,
PlayAuto Development Team

Hi @playauto
The shopify api is updated every quarter, in January, April, July, and October, i.e. 2024-01, 2024-04, 2024-07, and 2024-10, so it won't be a case of 2024-09 as you mentioned.
