Install app directly - bypassing app store - Oauth error invalid_request

I have an application using oauth2. The flow is working fine when installing from the app store.

I have a route in my application that redirects the user to install the app without going to the app store first. This was working until a few days again. I am now presented with the below error when redirecting back after the authorize page in Shopify:

Oauth error invalid_request: There was a problem redirecting you to the application.

Hello @fgh4 - on this one I'd recommend reaching out to our Partner Support specialists through your Partner Dashboard, since troubleshooting it may need to include some sensitive information related to the merchant's store that we don't usually recommend sharing on the forums. On a general note, most of the time redirection issues like this are related to malformed URIs. See here for some general tips on how to resolve the issue.

If the issue is still ongoing and the link above doesn't help, the best next steps would be:

1. Reach out to our Partner Support team through the "support" menu in your Partner Dashboard

2. Share this thread with them as well as the full redirect URL that is shared with the merchant that results in the error you shared. 
3. Partner Support should be able to reach out to one of our technical teams who can further assist them with resolving the issue.
