I'm in a strange situation where my store gets orders every day, and I'm pretty sure a relatively large number of people have visited my site and placed orders. But in my store report, it only shows 1 or 2 visitors and this problem has been going on for a month. I've been trying to fix it, but to no avail. The store is still working and it's not affecting the customers to place orders, but I can't do anything about it with the feedback of the visitor count, which is a situation I'm struggling with right now.

It sounds like you're facing a frustrating issue with your Shopify store's visitor analytics. Here are some brief troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the problem:

Possible Causes and Solutions

1. Google Analytics Integration:

Check Tracking Code: Ensure the Google Analytics code is correctly installed in your store's theme settings.

Review Filters: Verify that filters aren’t excluding certain traffic.

2. Shopify Analytics Settings:

Review Settings: Ensure analytics tracking is enabled under Online Store > Preferences.

Browser Issues: Test your site in different browsers or incognito mode.

3. Third-Party Apps:

Check Conflicts: Disable any analytics apps temporarily to see if they’re causing issues.

Update/Reinstall: Consider updating or reinstalling apps that track analytics.

4. Session Timeout:

Adjust Tracking Settings: Check session timeout settings to ensure they're not too short.

5. Customer Accounts:

Track Guest vs. Logged-In Visitors: Review how your analytics tool tracks these sessions.

Next Steps

Contact Shopify Support: If the issue persists, reach out to Shopify support for assistance.

Use Alternative Tools: Consider integrating tools like Google Tag Manager for better insights.

Monitor Regularly: Keep an eye on your analytics for any changes.

By following these steps, you should be able to identi

fy and fix the visitor count issue on your store.

The problem I'm having is that the store tracking traffic numbers are getting low and only showing 1 or 2 per day. yet I'm getting far more orders per day!
