Hi there,
We recently removed an access scope from our app that we no longer wish to use(we used to need it before migrating to fulfillment_orders).
This is great, however after removing the scope shops that have staff members who try to access the app are seeing an error stating that to access the shop must first uninstall and re-install(see screenshot).
This should not be an issue as our app is actually requesting less access than it currently has. It is also very confusing for shop staff members and is leading shops to uninstall and reinstall(as the error states) which often leads to duplicate charges(the recurring application charge is cancelled and then a new one is activated).
Can someone at Shopify state how to fix this? When requesting less access scopes than before this should not happen
