We would like to use subdomains and a headless store for affiliate attribution. For example, something like:
affiliate1.domain.com
affiliate2.domain.com
affiliate3.domain.com
And for each subdomain, we serve the same headless storefront (maybe with some customization based on subdomain). Sales go into the same store, same channel, but we know who drove the sale better than we would with iOS stripping query parameters and the like.
Is it possible to do this?
I'm looking for DNS documentation on using Oxygen and it seems kind of scarce. It feels like we ought to be able to just create a CNAME at our host for each subdomain, but I want to be sure we don't get tripped up by any need to "connect" domains at Shopify.
Anyone got advice / experience to share?
