Created users can't login but appear on the admin console

Hello,

We are using the Storefront API to create and login users but multiple users are reporting that they can't login. They get an error because the account doesn't exist. The problem is that we can look it up via the API and the admin console, where the user is indeed registered.

Resetting passwords is impossible because we get the same error.Is this an API issue?

I would recommend confirming that the users do in fact have activated accounts on the shop. There can be a record of a customer without their account being enabled. This is the 'state' field - only customers with state:enabled can actually log in, otherwise they will need to be invited to create an account. Hope this helps!
