I am working on custom apps for clients.

For reasons I have to ciircumvent the Shopify Checkout and create our own checkout model. There is one glaring problem though: you can only calculate shipping rates using the Checkout API. Is there any way to calculate available shipping rates for a given shipping address without creating a checkout that will show up in the Abandoned Checkout tab in Shopify Admin?

I ran into this issue as well, does anyone know a workaround or solution to this?
