Dynamically change product image as customer select different options

Is there a way to dynamically change the product image as the customer selects a different options? This could be color, background, custom text etc.

Hey, if the different options are created as different variants, you can have variant img, check here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/product-variant-images#add-an-image-to-a-new-variant. If the customer selects a variant, it will see the variant picture.

Thanks for the reply, but I don’t think it’s a solution for me.

If you have 3 features with 10 options in each feature, that’s 1000 variations.

I understand that would be the “easy” way to do it using Shopify backend. There might be apps to do that as well, but I’m not aware of any.
