I am building a nextjs react web app that lets users create and print (to canvas) their own unique designs. We are using Prodigi as our global print partner.
I have created a (self hosted) checkout page that is integrated with Stripe and Prodigi, as well as my own basic db to track orders.
I’d like Shopify to handle checkout (page if possible with one-off designs), payments, and order tracking.
- Should I be looking at the the Storefront API or Shopify functions?
- Can I send my customers’ one off designs to a Shopify hosted checkout page or would I have to use my own checkout page and just use Shopify for order management and tracking?
- Is there a better way to do this?
Any guidance would be helpful as I have just started looking in to this.
