Reaching out here since I’m having an issue with getting Google Search Console working on my site which is hosted on Netlify, and as a result my website cannot be indexed by Google.
It works locally with no error when I run it but there’s an issue where it’s hosted that says 500 error causing a failed server error. I believe this is the reason why it isn’t working as I see it from the logs too on the edge function handler. The framework I’m using is Shopify hydrogen v1 and Shopify has moved onto a newer version where the code structure is different. I was thinking of moving it to Shopify oxygen but that didn’t work, and tried modifying the original library with no success. This library is deprecated for using edge function on hydrogen v1 and moved to the newer framework (hydrogen v2 with remix). I would like to avoid doing a full rewrite to the newer framework as I don’t have the time resources with this task and need a simpler solution to get it to work.
