Our fulfilment company works on DDP instead of DDU and want us to charge the customs clearance charge in addition to the customs duty and vat charges along with shipping charges.
For Saudi Arabia shipping from UAE, The following are the conditions :
1. For order value of SAR 1000 and under, there is a clearance charge of AED 1.15
2. For order value above SAR 1000, there is a custom clearance charge of AED 26.15.
The shipping charges are based on weights starting from 0 - 500gm, 500-1kg,1kg-1,5kg,1,5kg-2kg etc.
Customs and vat charges are being calculated properly and based on the gross weight of the ordered items, the shipping charges are also being selected. However I don't find any option for the customs clearance charge to be configured.
ANy thoughts on how to go about doing it. The store is a UAE store and we are in the process of finishing up and gong live shortly.
