Here is the email I got...  Could someone tell me what this means? @Shopify

Hi There,

One or more of your custom apps have made deprecated API calls in the last 30 days. Support for these versions will be removed on January 1, 2023 to allow for continued infrastructure improvements. Please update the apps listed below to
API version 2022–07 or later to ensure they continue to function correctly:

Shop: GetTheGiftshop

Breaking changes affecting Get The Gifts

  • Several fields on the Storefront API were marked as deprecated

Shop: YBLGoods

Breaking changes affecting Test App

  • Several fields on the Storefront API were marked as deprecated

Shop: YBLKids

Breaking changes affecting YBLKids

  • Several fields on the Storefront API were marked as deprecated

If you have questions or require support, please chat with us in the API forum or contact us via Support."

This is an accepted solution.

Which parts are not self explanatory?

If you are not a developer basically it means those stores have custom/private apps setup.

https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/apps/custom-apps

And something is calling endpoints that have behaviors(fields) which are going to get removed.

https://shopify.dev/api/usage/versioning

So those parts of the custom apps will stop working next year if you don't fix them.

Typically if your not a developer and you didn't set those up then a developer you worked with did and they should be able to clarify what things are doing what.

If all of this is a surprise you need to work with someone to go over your businesses shopify usage and document what is going on.
