I need create a temporary cart

I wanted to create a temporary cart just to get some info like shipping address but I don't want to generate abandoned carts.

How is that possible?

I don't believe that's possible. If you add something to your cart, go to checkout, and then put in an email and shipping address, but don't complete the purchase, then it's going to generate an abandoned cart. There's no harm in doing this though. Abandoned carts don't impact your store or get you in trouble! 🙂
