Hi - we have recently been accepted to sell our products in exchange for an Australian state government's voucher program that requires integration via API to their program - is this something that can be done at Shopify Plus (or not plus) checkout and how do i find out more on how to integrate it. He is actually the partner of our Graphic Designer and based offshore, so is only taking the job as they already work with us. Have you tried looking for specific Shopify Devs through Shopify directly or Upwork?
I spoke with Service NSW and they told me we need to get someone to create the API and then they will test it and if ok then we can use it. We don't have the time/money for that, so we are going over the counter sales only. In the POS app > Settings> I created "Back to School vouchers" as a payment type and We will split the payments between the vouchers and cash/card if parents spend more than the $50 allotments. If this above works out though, I'd be happy to try it out. Will be watching this post, so keep us updated!
I wouldn't say demand was overly high, but if you had some boiler code and it was quick/ish to implement I guess you could charge a one time fee to implement it as a private app on a few stores.
Hi there! I know this is an old post but did you manage to get this up and running? We've opened a pop up so we'll be accepting vouchers in store but we'd love to accept them online too!
