Production hydrogen primary domain keeps redirecting to alias domain

Hello. I recently deployed a Hydrogen storefront to Oxygen and a myshopify.dev domain was automatically created.

I followed the Shopify guides to connect my godaddy domain (Oxygen doc and Shopify help center). I changed the godaddy domain's target to Production Hydrogen storefront and domain type to primary. This automatically changed the myshopify.dev domain type to Alias. There is no option to redirect this to my godaddy domain, which is what I do for my Online Stores.

When I visit my godaddy domain, it redirects to the myshopify.dev domain even though the godaddy domain is assigned as the primary domain type.

Can anyone kindly assist me with this?

Resolved - I had to change the URL Privacy of the Storefront from private to public.

Hey - this is really helpful, i'm going through a similar issue. Can you give more context on URL privacy? Is that within the Shopify dashboard? Cannot seem to find this option, but glad there is a solution to this problem! Thank you
