Set accepts_marketing on checkoutEmailUpdateV2 or somewhere else?

Is it possible to set accepts_marketing via Storefront API? So that users emails added via storefront API can have another status than unsubscribed in customers.

If there isn't any today couldn't it be added to "checkoutEmailUpdateV2"
