Hey @HspZapbuild - thanks for getting in touch! If you haven't checked it out yet, we do offer an official Node library here that offers some helpful boilerplates to help you get started.
In terms of placing and tracking orders, you'd want to take a look at our Order API here. We also have a guide on how to set up an order management app here, which is super useful. One thing to note is that if you were thinking of making an app that can process payments, it would need to be a sales channel, which does require approval from our App Review team and has a few restrictions/requirements that are part of the approval process.
