Dedicated to the Hydrogen framework, headless commerce, and building custom storefronts using the Storefront API.
Working on a site for a client, and they have a feature that displays the next date when the next inventory should arrive.
The issue is that if the transfer has been edited , it doesn't update the data on the frontend. This won't update the date and will show incorrect information. Does anyone know of anyway of fixing this? It happens only sometimes and eventually does update , but takes a while and is very glitchy.

Then it's a cache issue and there is very little to do about it as either the CDN simply hasn't updated the rendered html or even individuals browsers have it cache as well, or both.
And that inventory property is not provided in the ajax api to prevent unwanted inventory snooping by other parties.
You could always try modifying another property on the variant to see if you get a cache update earlier, though obviously you'd want to automate that.
