I have a custom app that has been making calls to 2020-07, which is supposedly no longer supported after 7/1/2021, but it is still working as of 12/29/22. I saw the warning mentioned in the subject line referencing 1/1/23 as the breaking point. Why is 1/1/23 such a crucial date? Will everything I am doing really stop working if that hasn't been the case in over two years (which is over 1 year past the previous "breaking point")?
I'm scrambling to update 3 apps that implement this Shopify app client, and I don't think I'm going to make it in time. How worried should I be?
(I inherited these apps from a previous developer and only stumbled upon the warning in early Dec 2022 despite adding my email in a bunch of places)
Thank you,
Josh
The answer is that it didn't break at midnight 1/1/23 like a carriage into a pumpkin, but I rushed to update everything I could anyway.
