Hello,

I have an issue with my translate and addapt app.

Im currently using impulse theme by archetypethemes and im not sure if the app is compatible.

The issue is that, when I navigate from main page or collection page into a specific product page, the language changes back to the preferred language automatically.

Thank you in advaced for the help.

Hi @Antoniooms , can you share here or via DM the store URL? It won't be caused by the app, but it might be caused by another app or how the navigation is setup. Thanks

The issue come when navigating in Spanish (secondary language) from the collection page to the product page.

Im using, Smart product & filter app to divide product variances.

Best regards,

Antonio

@Antoniooms It'll because of the Smart product & filter app, yep. You can see when you hover over a product that the linked URL does not have the language subfolder. You'd need to get in touch with their developers, though it does seem that they support multi-language: https://globo.io/kb/multi-languages-apps/

Translate & Adapt uses the Translations API as Langify / Translation Lab ‑ AI Translate / Translate&Currency - LangShop do so the instruction of 'Enable multiple languages' may work here.

Hello @Antoniooms ,

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

  • Review the theme documentation or contact the theme developer to check if there are any specific language settings or configurations that may be causing the issue.
  • Disable any language-related apps or tools temporarily to see if the issue persists. If the language behavior changes after disabling a particular app, you may need to adjust its settings or seek support from the app developer.
  • Inspect the theme code for any language redirect scripts or custom code that could be causing the automatic language change. If found, modify or remove the code accordingly.
  • If the issue persists and you are unable to resolve it, reach out to the theme developer or Shopify support for further assistance. They will have more specific knowledge about the theme and can provide guidance on resolving the language issue.

Hope this can help.

Transcy team.

Yes, an Impulse theme by ArchetypeThemes can impact app compatibility in ICT by influencing the layout, responsiveness, and integration capabilities of web  applications. Changes in theme structure or CSS styling may require adjustments to ensure seamless functionality across devices and platforms, affecting user experience and operational efficiency.
