Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Hi!
I'm new to Shopify, just starting to built my first webstore on this platform. I'm planning to have two different languages on my store. Do I understand correctly that it's possible to have two languages only with Shopify plan and not in Basic Shopify plan? I have read the materials and different posts, but it's still so confusing for me.

This is correct - the full integration for selling in multiple languages is only available from the Shopify plan and above. You can find the full details about this in our help docs here. That being said, you could always try using a translation app on the Basic plan, however you may not be able to fully translate the store (for example, it may not be able to translate the checkout). I'd recommend reaching out to the app developers to inquire about any restrictions or what can be implemented with just the Basic plan. Hope that helps!
