Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Hi all!
Does anyone have a solution to changing images based on customers location? The Geolocation app only allows to translate text. We need to translate images too.
The only way of achieving this I have come across is making a duplicate store, but this would 2x all software costs, require different advertising accounts etc.
Has anyone figured it out or have any ideas on how to achieve this? Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Jacob

Hi @mjacques
You can check Shopify Markets

Thanks for the reply,
Markets doesn't let you change images based on location tho? Only text, domains, currency etc.

Thank you! Will look into it.
Hi @mjacques , please don't reference that blog article, it's now been significantly superseded.
Use store contextualisation to adapt content by market: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/customizing-themes/store-contextualization
And on top of that images can be 'translated' by language and adapted by market: https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-translate-adapt/tips-from-the-team-translating-images-and-ot...
All the best,

Hi Jacob,
You can use the EZ Product Image Translate app. It allows you to change product images based on the customer’s location or language. This way, you can display region-specific images without the hassle of managing multiple stores.
Hope this helps!
