How can I generate international invoices for my orders with information on commodity codes etc?

You could consider Custom Invoice solutions such as Final Invoice Pro or other order printer apps to do this.

If you use our App and ship with DHL, FedEx or UPS, you don't even need to print any invoice to most countries.
These carriers support "paperless invoice", so invoice data are sent to them when a shipping label is created.

If you don't need to use our App, you can also make a customs invoice template in OrderPrinter, a Shopify (free) app and print invoices in bulk every time you need.

Ship&co. Works with DHL, FedEx and UPS.
Ship&co will create the shipping labels and the invoice;
Invoice doesn't need to be printed when shipping to most countries.
Ship&co supports HS code and country code from Shopify items.
