Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Hello all,
We have 2 warehouses selling the same products. Warehouse A is set to deal with orders from Europe and warehouse B orders for the US.
One of our SKU is out of stock in warehouse A but in stock in warehouse B. What happens now is that users in Europe still see the product as available as there is stock in warehouse B. If they order their purchase will be fulfilled from the warehouse B in the US which does not make any sense.
So my question is: is there any way (Shopify native or apps) to make sure users in Europe see the product as out of stock while users in the US see it as in stock and can still order it?
Thank you so much for your answers.
Best regards,
Mathieu
If you input all stock together in Shopify it will of course show the inventory to EU clients. Unless you sell in 2 stores seperately or make 2 different sku for the same products, for example, add EU and US version to distinguish, then this problem can be solved.
Have you solved this problem now?
Not yet unfortunately.
The only solution would be to deactivate our automatic inventory synchronization and go back for manual updates which I think is a pitty.
