Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Hi!
I'm looking for some guidance on how shipping from two different countries works?
I have a store that will be only for the US and I will ship from the US.
But I want to ship internationally too and I will ship from that country as well.
How do I set up shipping from international country?
Any suggestions is appreciated.

Hi there, @ponbru. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community with your question around shipping to multiple countries. It's good to meet you!
If you're looking to ship internationally - so not in the country that your business operates from, you'll have a few steps to consider, and a few things you need to set up before you get things rolling. I'll list them for you below:
I've gone ahead and grabbed you some resources that should help with this! First, we have our help document here on Locations. This will tell you all you need to know about setting up a location for fulfillment. Then, I have this resource here for Shipping Zones. I also have this resource here on building a market, as well as this resource on Shipping Profiles. These help docs should set you down the right path!
If you have any specific questions while going through these documents, feel free to follow up with me here and let me know!

Hi,
Have you explored custom shipping profiles for this? I think this could be potentially solved by creating two separate profiles.
This is an accepted solution.

Thank you Imogen,
I believe this is the exact answer I was looking for.
Just to clarify... It is possible to ship items from two different locations while using market correct?
What I mean by this is that on one store I ship from US
while on the other store I ship from Brasil.
Just want to be 100% certain that is what you mean.
Thank you!
Hey again, @ponbru. Thanks for following up on our thread!
So setting up a Market for a country will allow that to be a country that your customers can select as a shipping destination. If you have a location set up for that region/country, and that location is set as a fullfillment location in a shipping profile you have assigned for that region, and that location has the products the customer wants to order stocked there, then the closest location (so Brazil for your Brazilian customers) would be used to ship, where as someone in the U.S who is closer to the U.S location will have their products shipped from there.
I hope this makes sense! Let me know if you have any questions!
