Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Hi there everyone,
I recently had a look at the analytics for my site. It seems, from what I can tell, that the overwhelming number of visitors are from a specific city in a specific country.
I wonder if this is normal, or whether there is something I can do to make sure that my store has more international coverage? I'd really appreciate any insights you may have on this.
Thanks in advance.
Max

Hi @memax !
Thanks for reaching out about this.
Can you tell me more about the marketing tactics you have in place at the moment? I'm wondering if the strategy is targetting the country that saw an influx in visitors as of late or whether it might have been a bots crawling your website.
Have you recently made changes to your store or updated your sitemap? If so, it's possible that search engine bots have been crawling your store to update the search results and that created the influx you're seeing.
If you would like to reach out to our support team by logging into your account here, they can take a closer look into the analytics and determine what may have caused this.
In any case, I'd like to leave you with this informative blog post regarding international commerce. If you're interested in growing your business globally, you will find some great tips and insights in that post.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.

What marketing strategy are you using?
I will advice you blast campaign to people from different country to create awareness for your store and products.
I believe this will solve your problem if the marketing is not targeted to only a specific country.
I can help you generate about 1000 emails of potential buyers from different countries and then we send them all a promotional emails, i believe that will solve the challenge.
kindly provide your store link so i can see what you sell.
