Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
We have one Shopify account, in which we have several markets, each with its unique url domain/“shops”. How can we link all url’s with one Google Merchant Center?
Our understanding is that it is only possible to connect one google merchant centre to one shopify account and each merchant centre can only verify one top level domain, hence we have not been able to connect the remaining markets/ “shops”.
You can do so if you use an app specifically built for these cases, I recommend you use: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds
The Google and youtube app does not support this.
Hi, I already tried this App, but it seems to not tackle the problem that Shopify is just able to connect to one MC.
Each MC is just able to verify one Top Level Domain, hence having .es and .pt managed via one shopify account does not allow having both feeds (from both domains) automated in one MC account, correct?
For every feed you create you can connect to a different Google Merchant Center sub account. And you should be able to if its not a sub account.
Even if that fails, you can still connect manually using the provided file link.
So you have 3 different ways that all work.
The profided shopify file of the feed also just offers the file in one language, the one of the main market chosen in shopify, correct?
You need to use a translation app, if you want to support multiple languages, then the feed app can collect this info.
how can i create a sub account? i already created an advanced account but i see no option to create a sub account within my merchant center
In your advanced account click on the blue pus icon, or go to accounts > click on the blue plus icon. More info: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/shopping/full-automation/articles/t2
Awesome, are you using this as a replacement for Google & YouTube app on your Shopify stores or both?
For my clients, yes, I use the multifeed app as a replacement. As it fits all my requirements for setting up correct feeds.
