hey i would like to sell in other markets like france and belgium but when i change the default language to french for the markets and then go to the countries with the vpn i end up on the normal .com page and not on .com/fr-fr or .com/bn-fr despite deleted history and cache.
Should not be regulated by the subfolders so that when someone in the country goes to the page the subfolder URL of the respective country is automatically selected?

Hi @le_X_Atelier_ , I think you may have translated using an app not compatible with the Translations API. This is why when you go to .com/fr-fr much of the content is still in German - there are not translations saved for French or English. You could verify this by exporting your Translations CSV and looking in column H, or using the Translate & Adapt and looking on the right hand side in either English or French in the editor. IP address doesn't govern language with Shopify.
