Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Hello - our client sells jewellery and clothes from India internally and then to UK and US. They also have some brands that ship from outside of India.
We haven't been able to successfully set up the jewellery duty for jewellery leaving India. We tried setting it in the shipping profiles but this isn't possible without a custom app/code - we'd need to have separate shipping profiles for the completed shipping rules, but we can't cross profiles.

Is a solution for this to make use of the HS codes? We haven't added HS codes for any products. Has anyone got experience with this?
I'm just concerned that if we did mass import HS codes, would custom metadata for each product be overwritten?
